A little about InTomsRiverNJ.com and it’s author, Jim Flanagan

I’ll be frank.  I created InTomsRiverNJ.com to get your real estate business.

Why?  Because I am the Broker of Record for Coldwell Banker Flanagan Realty in Toms River and Manchester, NJ.

Now, if you would be so kind, please allow me to explain how I plan on EARNING your real estate business

Now that we have that out of the way, let me tell you why I chose to live in Toms River, NJ

My parents moved our family “back” to Toms River, NJ, in 1970.  At that time, there were only two ways for a father to support his family in Toms River; selling automobiles or selling real estate.

My father eventually opened his own brokerage, Flanagan Real Estate Center, in 1979.

When I graduated from Toms River High School East in 1984, the last thing I wanted to do was sell real estate.  The second to last thing I wanted to do was live in Toms River.

Well, I grew up!

I moved “back” to Toms River in 1997, procured my real estate license and joined my father at Coldwell Banker Flanagan Realty (having franchised with Coldwell Banker in 1987).  It was, and still is, the BEST decision I ever made.

My "other" passion!

Some wise person once said, “Find the thing you love to do and figure out how to get paid to do it.”  Well, I love to talk about, write about, read about and “tweet” about Real Estate and Toms River!

If I’m not doing any of those things, I’m most likely scuba diving off of the Jersey Shore.
